Do you offer internships, work experience, work placements or volunteering opportunities?

Unfortunately, we don't offer these opportunities at the moment. Should they arise they will be advertised on our career page; you can set up alerts on our recruitment system if you’d like to be notified about these type of vacancies.

I’d like to work for you, but I don’t have the right to work in the country where the job is based. Will you sponsor me?

We do not sponsor working visas for external recruitment, so you must have the right to work in the location the vacancy has been advertised in.

What language can I apply in?

We are a global organisation and we use English as the common language across our offices. We may sometimes advertise jobs in the native language of the host country in order to attract a range of people, but we would prefer you to apply in English.

Flexible working is listed as a benefit, what does that look like in practice?

Flexibility looks slightly different in each of our offices. However, many of our staff work flexibly, in many ways, from compressed hours to flexible start and finish times, to reduced hours. Your manager will work closely with you to make sure your schedule works for you, ensuring the needs of your role can be met.

If you would like flexibility, then we encourage you to talk to us at the interview stage so we can explore what is possible for the role.

I missed the deadline for a job; can I submit a late application?

If you have seen a job advertised but missed the closing date deadline, please contact our Talent Acquisition team, who will advise you on whether we can receive a late submission.

I’m interested in more than one role; can I apply for them all?

Of course! We encourage people to apply for any role where you believe your skills match the requirements of the role.

I have a disability, will you make reasonable adjustments?

World Animal Protection is committed to ensuring that all candidates are treated fairly throughout our recruitment process. As a candidate, you have the right to ask for adjustments to be made to your job interviews and process tests.  You do not have to disclose details to us, simply let the recruiter know that you are disabled and express the adjustments you require. Where we can help, we will.

Some examples of adjustments that can be requested, but not limited to, are:

• Increased time or changing the time of assessments to suit your needs
• Providing documents in a different format
• Providing extra information about what to expect
