Innovative solutions

Wildlife

Billions of wild animals across the world are experiencing unbearable cruelty.

We are dedicated to disrupting industries that exploit animals in the wild and work tirelessly to create innovative solutions to help safeguard wild animals from cruelty.

Working with our network of supporters, we campaign to raise awareness of the cruel policies, practices, and conditions to generate public opposition to this intolerable activity.

Here at World Animal Protection, we believe that wild animals should have the right to a wild life, protected and secure from cruel exploitation with the freedom to thrive in natural habitats.

Protecting wild animals through innovation

Alongside our proactive approach to campaigning, we are constantly working on a host of innovative solutions to grant the private sector a route out of the exploitation of wild animals and to become part of the solution.

We achieve this by working towards:

  • Forming strategic alliances with like-minded supporters
  • Engaging with local communities
  • Developing and building the case for humane sustainable alternatives
  • Raising awareness and knowledge of animal cruelty and protection
  • Delivering campaigns to help safeguard wild animals
  • Ending the commercial exploitation of wildlife
  • Moving the tourism industry away from heartless wildlife entertainment
  • Ending the exploitation of wild animals and their use in traditional Asian medicine

Our ambition

Our goal is that wildlife-friendly experiences and products become ‘the norm’ and that local communities that previously depended on wildlife exploitation for their livelihood become ambassadors for the protection of wild animals.
